to be quite honest, I am a survivor of sex trafficking; some of us have more tragic upbringings than others. I am now in my 40's raising a 6 year old boy who calls me mom.....life has changed for the better that's for sure. I don't like to dwell on the past, but I am just sharing the fact that I do have somewhat of a different past than most. I like to wake up in the morning and hear the "good morning mom, I love you" I am going back to school (college) to work with the community. I don't drink or do drugs, I am content with quiet nights, simple meals and listening to the rain hit the window on cold winter or even spring days and enjoy being out along the water or at the park with my boy. Nothing could get any better than living the simple life.
